Trainer. Researcher.
Farmer. Future of Work-ist.
Based in Kailua, O'ahu. Working across Hawaiʻi. Growing things in Moloka'i.
I've spent 25 years helping people and organizations in Hawaiʻi think more clearly, work more effectively, and build things that last. This is where all of that lives.
The Short Version
I've been doing this work since 1999 — training, facilitating, consulting — and somewhere along the way I also became a farmer, a slack key guitarist, a reader of theology and Louis L'Amour, and a person who thinks a lot about what literacy means in a world that keeps changing.
I grew up in Hawaiʻi. I work here. I believe in this place and in the people in it.
The professional work — training, facilitation, digital literacy — lives at Kuahiwi Group and Māpunawai. This site is the rest of it.

The Other Work
Agroforestry, water infrastructure, solar power. 'Ulu, banana, avocado, sweet potato. A small shelter. A lot of quiet.

Writing lands here eventually — reflections on work, place, literacy, and Hawaiʻi. For now, the rest of this page says plenty.
Get in Touch

I read everything. I'm just slow sometimes.
